I wish that I could shout to the world that we have a daughter but instead I need to let you know that we are still in the dark. The only thing that has been revealed to us is that this is a courier error as it was mishandled somewhere along the way but we do not know yet what steps will be taken.
On another note; I have to let you know that what we have found through this debacle for lack of a better word is that we are blessed with wonderful friends from around this country. Some of people that we have met and some that we know through my blogging or online support groups. I have received so many phone calls, e-mails and loving gestures that have come from far and wide. We truly are blessed beyond belief and know that ultimately our blessings will bring Katie Starr home to us. As one example of a loving gesture please check this link out:
www.chasinglittlekacey.blogspot.com. Julie, who is a friend and fellow blogger has written her latest passage today 2/28/06 about our situation. What she has written will show her dedication as a friend and fellow adoptive mother to be as well as her friendship towards Marc and I. Thank you Julie from the bottom of my heart and thank you to all of you whom we call family and friends who bolster us in your love and support during the good times as well as the bad times. We love you all.

Oh that was just the sweetest post. I won't hold it against Julie that she made me cry. :-)
Hang in there Lori, it can't be too much longer! You've got a whole lot of people sending fervent good wishes out into the universe for you.
Honk, honk, honk,
She will be home soon.
We are all honking with you...Katie will be with us soon, have faith, be strong and put the fritos down! I love you guys, Jane
The comment above is from my sis Jane who knows that when I am stressed I eat and fritos are usually the food of choice - with dip of course. Tonight I ate fritos...LOL
Lori
