My Sister Jane is here for a visit!

My sis, Jane is here for the weekend. She arrived this morning and she and I had a wonderful day. We went to lunch (we both had salads of course ;0)Then we came home for a bit to wait until the DD were home from school. Marc waited for the Ethan to come home on the bus and Jane and I went to pick up Miss Starr from school. She had dance class today so out she comes in her tie dye school t-shirt with her tutu and ballet shows. (what a picture!) It took her all of 5 seconds to see Aunt Jane and have it register that it was really her. She has been so excited that she was coming but I think it threw her off that she was at her school, picking her up. They hugged, kissed and talked all the way home. Once we got home and saw Ethan for a few minutes we put Katie down for a nap and left E home with daddy while sis and I went for a pedicure and a little shopping....aaaah...so nice!

In this picture, Katie and Jane were laying down and Marc saw that it looked like Katie's head was attached to Jane's body, so he snapped the picture...weird!

Then Chelsea, our babysitter came and once we got everyone settled, we were off to the Seminole Hard Rock Casino to meet our folks and have a fun family evening sans the DD.

Once we got to our destination, we headed into the entertainment complex to find a restaurant and we hit on a good one. We ate at a very cool Asian restaurant. We had a wonderful dinner, talked, laughed together and just had a blast...what fun!

The dinner ended with a check accompanied by cotton candy. We all acted quite silly with our candy as you can see. I swear, we were all acting like 3 year olds. I guess the DD are rubbing off on us ;0)

After dinner we ambled into the casino and walked around a bit. My mom settled at a slot machine (that is always trouble) and proceeded to win a little and lose a little more. Finally, after the machine ate too many 20.00 bills we staged an intervention and pulled her away from the machine. In the next two pics you can see that it really only takes a very short time to take all those 20.00 bills and turn them into a 50 cent voucher....

Finally, we ended up in an area where there was a band and lots of people dancing. We enjoyed watching all of the craziness that was going on between the people on the dance floor and the ones watching them. We just sat (I danced a little) and goofed around with each other and the camera.

My folks, sister, Marc and I had a ball tonight and I look forward to a very fun weekend...stay tuned for more tomorrow evening.

Hey, do you want another sister? That looked like fun!
I think hubby and I need to find a good sitter. Our (first and) last night out alone was over a year ago!
By the way, Katie's hair looks long, and very pretty!

I'm cracking up once again. I had completely forgotten my one and only visit to The Four Seasons in NYC, they bring cotton candy with the bill...so imagine 8 women at a table after a few marinis...yeah, we were asked not to come back!

Looks like you all had a great time. I am sure you hear this all the time, but you and your sister look alot alike. And Miss Star also resembles you and Aunt Jane.
