It's all about perspective

Tonight at dinner Katie and I were talking about Preschool and more specifically Miss Dawn, her teacher from last year. Katie informed me that she could not speak too loudly when she saw Miss Dawn because she takes care of the "babies." It seems that just last June, Katie must have been a "baby" too since she was in that class ;0) I asked her why she could not speak loudly around the "babies" and she proclaimed that it was because the "babies" are *always* sleeping. I have no idea why she has that idea since she gets out of school at 1:30PM and she has never napped at school. She must just *know* that "babies" sleep a lot.

Her last comment on the subject was that she always was really good at being quiet around the "babies" because she always has good "Managers" (Manners ;0)

A few minutes later as we were finishing dinner, Daddy came out of the bedroom all dressed up for an important meeting. She took one look at him and said "Daddy, you are handsome!" Then she looked at me and said "I like when Daddy is handsome!"

Me too Katie Starr! Bwaahaha!

Note: We had a big step forward in Ethan's development tonight. Tonight was the first time that he ever tattled on Katie. I am sure to some that does not seem like either a big thing or a good thing but believe me when I tell you; it is both of those things to us.

Goodnight from the Loony Bin!

Goodness your Miss Starr is growing up! Can you please inform her that I need her to be a baby just a little bit longer since my own girl has become a sassy 6 year old? I so enjoy reading all about these conversations.

GO Ethan! What an amazing step for him to tattle. I know what you mean. Most people would think we're nuts doing the Snoopy Happy Dance but each step he takes is wonderful.

Yay on the big step for Ethan! And Katie always is amazing, at least she doesn't want to marry her handsome Daddy! ;o)
