Last weekend we made an impromptu decision to head to the beach; something us locals do not do as much as you would think. We met Grace and family as well as Lisa and her daughter, Lauren and commented to each other about why it is we do not come more often. We will definitely make it a few more times over the summer. The kiddos had a blast!!

Love those pictures--especially the pictures of everyone buried in sand up to their necks. Hmmm...where's the one of Mom buried in the sand? (Smile!) I wish we had a beach remotely near us!
Oh how I hate sand all over me. I don't think I'd want to be buried in it like the kids. Looks like everybody had great time. Maybe one of these days we'll join you.

I remember those days...funny how you miss it once you no longer are there (but never bothered to go when it was only a short drive away!).
