Lori this is a beautiful picture of your two babies : ) I love it!!! Happy New Year!!! Thank you so much for being such an incredible friend and so supportive..I love you!!! Kiss those babies for me. xoxo
I am not sure how to get a hold of you, so I will leave a comment here and hope you read them. Your friend Penny Richardson saw my post in the special needs forum China website. She gave me the link to your blog in hopes that we could connect. We adopted a little girl (she is 3 1/2) from Wenzhou last year and she is profoundly deaf. In August she had surgery for cochlear implants and everything was going fantastic. We had a few concerns and took her to an pediatic opthemologist. He is seriously concerened and thinks she has Usher's Syndrome. With all the signs of the syndrome, she would have Usher's I which means she could be blind by the age of 10. We are scheduling a ERG at Childrens Hospital but it could take 2-3 months to get in. We are trying to gain as much knowledge as we can at this time. Not sure if you can help us in this but would love to chat. Thank you so much! Fonnetta icedlatteprincess at yahoo dot com
What a beautiful photo of your sweet Dynamic Duo! It was great to hug you the other day at the festival and to see your sweet family even if only for a moment! Wish we could have made the dinner. Xin Nian Kuai Le!!!!
We are Lori and Marc; Two 50 something parents of Justin (28) an attorney married to Judy a teacher, Katie Starr (7) and Ethan (7), our virtual twins adopted from the Peoples Republic of China. Having virtual twins is very interesting to put it mildly. Yeah, we are a little stressed out but we do have loads of fun as well. Come and visit us from time to time to get a taste of the madness.
8/24/09 I asked Katie is she wanted a piece of strawberry shortcake and she responded by telling me..."I only want the fruit..please don't give me the cake!"
