Oh shucks, you made me cry! Look how long and pretty Katie's hair is. Just thinking about all that's happened the past year makes me weepy--they're growing up too quickly. We've come such a long way from Marc singing Christmas carols in Chinese on the little white van/bus in Beijing! :) Love to all of you! Happy travels. At least this time you have an inkling of what could happen. All the best to you. Can't wait to see the pictures.
I think you should carry this photo around in a locket around your neck! Or use it as a background on your computer (can you do that with a crackberry?). Love, love, love this picture too!
I have been reading your blog for a long time now. I first saw you and your journey on "The Story of You". I beleive that is where I first read about your family. In any case what a beautiful picture of your children and congratulations on the coming adoption of your beautiful son. I can't wait till we get to go to China but our wait feels like it is never going to end!!!! In the meantime I follow others like yourself and enjoy your journey! Sincerely, Kathryn LID 4/25/06
We are Lori and Marc; Two 50 something parents of Justin (28) an attorney married to Judy a teacher, Katie Starr (7) and Ethan (7), our virtual twins adopted from the Peoples Republic of China. Having virtual twins is very interesting to put it mildly. Yeah, we are a little stressed out but we do have loads of fun as well. Come and visit us from time to time to get a taste of the madness.
8/24/09 I asked Katie is she wanted a piece of strawberry shortcake and she responded by telling me..."I only want the fruit..please don't give me the cake!"

And why wouldn't you love this picture!? Justin is a son to do any mom proud. Katie Starr is just that - a starr in her own right.
I look forward to seeing a picture of all 3 of your children in the coming months.

A true Kodak moment - absolutely priceless. Can't wait to see Ethan with the Weinstock grin on his face.
Best wishes sweetie, you have a beautiful family.
