Anyone that has read this blog for any length of time knows our Aunt Shirley. If you are a new reader then let me fill you in. Aunt Shirley is Marc's aunt on his father's side and is the children's honorary third grandmother. She adores the dynamic duo and doesn't think we are too bad either ;-)
On Valentine's Day she sent a large care package and one of the gifts for Katie was a pair of Dora Slippers which she calls her slipperies. Katie loves them soooo much and every time she wears them she always tells us that her Aunt Shirley gave them to her.
Tonight she had just gotten out of the bath (thus the wet hair) and she was talking about Aunt Shirley again while wearing her slippers so this time I ran for my video camera and got the following on tape.
Aunt Shirley, I hope that you enjoy this as much as we love you.

It sounds like Aunt Shirley is a pretty awesome person. It must be the name! I had an Aunt Shirley at Katie Starr's name, & she did special things for me too.
I think the slipperies are pretty nifty too!
