The bigs came over to see me and the Littles tonight. Marc was working tonight so he was not there. They brought over a totally yummy pizza. I mean, like the best pizza that I have had since I was a little kid living in the northeast. We ate, talked, ate ice cream (diet be damned) talked more and played with the DD. I love this type of evening more than my kids will ever know, that is until they have kids.
Katie said something today and she was unaware that I heard it. It sums my feelings up quite nicely. She was watching one of her favorite TV shows and they asked the question "What are you thankful for?" The show paused a few seconds for the child to respond and I heard Katie quietly say back to the TV...."My family."
Oh Katie Starr, you are such a smart smart girl.
