I am going to partake in this week's theme on Lisa's blog of Black and white Wednesday.
This particular picture was taken this past weekend on a very chilly South Florida Day (Isn't that an oxymoron?) at a U-Pickem Farm. Katie was looking up at one of the beautiful trees and I love the way that the light played on her hair. Katie has very light hair; it is actually dirty blonde. I know that seems odd for a person born in China and actually we got many questions from people all over China on both of our adoption trips asking where she was from?!? Too funny!
Our very beautiful girl is proud to be from China and her distinctive look proves that the people of China are as different looking as people from any country in the world. This global society has allowed our looks to blend and that is a beautiful thing.

What a beauty you have on your hands! She is as beautiful inside as out. Love the look on her face.
Can't wait for our little adventure! I have a feeling it's going to be something we will be talking about for years to come!
Hi Lori~
I've noticed that about Katie's hair! It is lovely! Lindy's is not the stereotypical jet black but it is definitely no where near blonde.
This is a lovely picture of your sweet girl!

PS~I meant to put stereotypical in quotations because I've heard people say that Asians all look alike which is ludicrous.

So pretty! You'd not know it was a chilly day by looking at this warm lovely photo. I love the bokeh and the glistening strands of hair. Plus that sweet expression.
