Black and White Wednesday - Angel Face

Today is Black and White Wednesday over at my friend Lisa's blog and I thought of this picture to convert to black and white as it captures my sweet little "angel face" very well. She looks so happy and peaceful here. It is VERY uncommon to see her look any other way. She is the type of person who takes on the world each day with a huge smile that lights up her face. If Katie is cranky then I know something is wrong just as I did yesterday when her asthma blew up again. This morning she looks miserable and she is home for the day.

I love my little angel face and I just hate to see her or any of my children suffer.

Damn Asthma....leave my little girl alone!!!!!

What a beautiful photo of such a beautiful child. It's amazing how the b&w makes her hair look almost blond. I hope she's feeling better soon... I bet it's all the rain we've been having around here.

p.s. I think you linked the wrong url to Lisa's site. It's directing everyone to one of your older posts. :)

This is a great shot. I love that she is the focus, but her face doesn't fill up the frame.

Katie Starr is such a beautiful person - both inside & out. Her smile can light up a room.

I'm amazed by how blond her hair looks!

As for the asthma, I'm with you. It really bites suffering from it, but even more so, I hate seeing children deal with asthma.

She DOES have the face of an angel! I love how light her hair looks in this photo.

I hope she's breathing easier now.

I know how you feel. My son has allergies and I hate seeing his face all puffed up and swollen.

She is adorable. Sorry to hear about the asthma...that sucks.

I had to skip on down to other posts to see the colour of her hair, gosh it is beautiful!

What an amazing photo! The black and white really shows the highlights in here hair. Those highlights that come naturally for our kids and we pay hundreds of dollars for!

I think I told you before, my brother grew up with severe bronchial asthma and has mostly outgrown in as an adult. I hope that Katie is able to outgrow it too, I know what its like.

BIG HUGS!
