Two Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest

My camera has not come out much over the past week since we have been home from our week long adventure. I think the kids and I were on "smile please!" overload. That and a combination of getting back to life as we know it around here. It has NOT been a good week for me, not good at all. A very close friend betrayed my trust and showed true disloyalty to me and my family. I am still in a funk over the whole thing.

The few photos that I have taken will be posted very soon but for the sake of the DD's fans, I am posting this weirdly funny video of our two kooky darlings. This was taken at dinner this past week. Notice how I have to keep Katie's hair away from her face as she is one of the messiest eaters on the planet (BTW, that is said with total love..LOL) Katie is telling me a little about her day in preschool and as usual, once the camera comes out she launches into full Sarah Bernhardt mode; theatrics galore is what our girl is all about :0) Ethan makes a guest appearance as well!

I'm happy to see a post. I was getting worried.

Sorry about your close friend betraying you and your family. Not nice!

Cute video.

I can't wait to check back and see the video. I'm glad things are getting back to normal.

I'm sorry to hear about your friend.

I'll have my eyeballs out for that video :0)

Sorry about the pal who turned out not to be a trustworthy gal! Been there and it is a rotten feeling.

Loved the video! You know this household can never get enough of the DD.

Been there, done that with the close friend thing. She was actually my BEST FRIEND and it's been a few years and we are just now starting to talk again. It sucks to lose that and to lose it by her betraying you. I had to pray A LOT to get over it and it actually still hurts today.

Love the video - your 2 kiddos are just darling!

I'm so sorry about your close friend betraying you. It's awful and I've been there too.

Katie is a character(in a good way) and so full of personality. William was sitting on my lap while watching the video and he smiled at her the whole time. When Katie waved and said bye-bye...he did the same back to her too!

Have a great weekend SFAM!

That video was cute! I love the singing at the end, reminds me of Kerri.
Huge hugs. I have a favorite saying by Eleonor Roosevelt:
"Women are like tea bags. You never know how strong they are until you put them in hot water." (I think that's how it goes).

Erin demanded time to see her special buddies. They kept her giggling & smiling as always.
